Byron Linnell Edwards is a creative ideaist, funemployed runner, hobbyist writer and freelance communications specialist within the digital stratosphere in social media and digital public relations.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in Communication from George Mason University, Byron Linnell Edwards has worked at BET Networks, Roc Nation, HUFF Events & PR, and Urban League. In his current position at BET Networks, Byron manages press logistics for the networks major award shows and music specials (BET Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, Black Girls Rock!, Soul Train Awards, BET Honors, Celebration of Gospel, Rip The Runway). In addition, he has had the opportunity to freelance on several PR and social media projects, including press efforts for R&B recording artist Tamia Hill, American Black Film Festival, American Family Insurance's Stand Up For Family comedy special, Bryan Michael Cox’s Recording Industry Society SESAC Pre Grammy Brunch, Non-Profit Organization Green For All with Wiz Khalifa, and Miami Jazz In The Garden Festival with Lauryn Hill.
